RADIO

Our low-power radio station is run by a Ramsey Electronics FM-30B transmitter. This transmitter was purchased and assembled for the 2007 season. It does a great job in broadcasting our show's official voice Demented Elf and gives us enough range without violating the FCC regulations for unlicensed radio transmission.

Radio use Statement

We operate our legal non-licensed transmitter in compliance with the FCC Rules. We choose our un-used frequency based on local listings of FM broadcasters in our area. We broadcast within a 200 ft radius from our home by testing with FM radios to find that this does not interfer with local radio stations. If you think you are having interference due to our transmitter or have any other comments, please email us at: sgowen@christmaslights4fun.com  and we will work with you to resolve the problem. All  complaints will be delt with promptly as we do not want to violate any FCC Rules or our neighbors.

We have our own radio station to enhance our display! While the display is operating, viewers can hear a sequence of music that is synchronized to our lights by tuning their car radio to FM 92.9 Reindeer Radio
